Yesterday, I visited Saiho-ji Temple, which is commonly called "Koke-dera", or "Moss Temple". I think you can see where it gets its name. It was as beautiful as I had hoped.
It's been a lovely spring here in Kyoto. I was lucky enough to spend part of the day yesterday at Shugakuin Rikyu, an imperial villa in the north of the city, at the base of the Higashiyama Mountains.
