Hotel Imagine Kyoto is a modern ryokan close to Kyoto Station. It’s got spacious rooms that can accommodate families and small groups. It’s a great place to meet other travelers.

There are a total of 13 rooms with 5 different interior layouts that can accommodate groups of up to seven people which makes it perfect for families with younger children. Guests are also able to select between Western beds or futons.
Each room is also equipped with features like a Shigaraki pottery sink, originating from Shiga prefecture and upcycled Obi (Kimono belt) as their curtain pullbacks. Like all ryokan, you are provided with yukata robes which you can wear as you explore the hotel.

There’s a rooftop area called Sora Space which you can use it for picnics, outdoor cinema experience or even an intimate party venue.

On the ground floor is a shared dining and co-working space, equipped with a small kitchenette for meal preparation, a Balmuda toaster and microwave to reheat meals and a coffee maker for those who enjoy a freshly brewed cup.

One of the strong points of the hotel is it’s close proximity to Kyoto Station (a 5-minute walk). This allows easy access to the shinkansen, major train lines, the subway and the city’s main bus terminal. If you are arriving or departing with the limousine bus from Kansai airport, the bus station is a 3-minute straight walk from the hotel entrance.
