The Kyoto Hotel Okura is the most affordable of the luxury hotels in Kyoto and it claims an incredible location within walking distance of the entire downtown shopping/dining district and the northern Higashiyama sightseeing district. Rooms are on the large side, especially the corner suites, and there are several good on-site restaurants and bars. All in all, it’s highly recommended.
