Sea-theme room
Each guest room features bunk beds that feel like childhood forts with an assortment of fun play elements built in – the forest-theme rooms include speaking tubes between the beds and play cubbies, a bouldering wall, and a climbing rope. When kids tire of active play, they can slow down with coloring books and crayons included in their amenities sets. And when it’s screen time, you find all your favorite streaming options of the in-room TVs.
Forest-theme room
The hotel’s common areas have the same fun wallpaper and other design elements as the guest rooms, and they’re sure to capture children’s imaginations from the moment you enter. The lobby also feature an interactive projector wall and bouldering areas so that energetic little ones are never lost for something to do – no matter what parents are up to.
PLAY!! lobby area
PLAY!! is located a short walk from the Kyoto Imperial Palace Park, which is a great place to take children in need of fresh air and exercise. One of Kyoto’s best playgrounds can be found at the northwest corner of the park. PLAY! is also quite close to Marutamachi Station on the Karasuma subway line, offering easy access to Kyoto Station and many other parts of Kyoto.
The one downside of PLAY!! is that there’s no staffed front desk. However, they have a staffed check-in counter at Kyoto Station, as well as a shuttle bus to the property. Alternatively, you can check-in online and you’ll be given information needed for self-check-in.
