As the name suggests, this is an excellent little business hotel a short walk from the south side of Kyoto Station. It’s near AEON Mall, so there are plenty of shopping and dining options only steps away.
The Hotel Excellence is a great choice for someone looking for a simple and inexpensive room in a convenient location. Sure, the rooms are small, but at the prices they offer, how can you complain? It’s a very short walk to the station and an even shorter walk to the excellent and extensive AEON Mall, which has a great restaurant floor and some wonderful shops.
If this one is full, try the Hotel Excellence Kyoto Ekimae branch on the north side of Kyoto Station.
