Running three times daily between Tokyo’s Shinjuku Station and Kawaguchiko, which is at the base of Mt Fuji, this is the most comfortable and stylish way to get to the base of the mountain. Best of all, it’s timed so that you can take the morning train out, do some exploring around Kawaguchiko and enjoy the views of Mt Fuji and then hop the last train home the same day.
For those who want a quick look at the symbol of Japan and want to do it in style, the Mt Fuji excursion is the way to go. And, since it’s JR, tickets are a breeze to get. And if you want to get them in advance, just buy them from Klook.
