Overlooking Nijo-jo Castle, the Crowne Plaza ANA Kyoto is large hotel popular with tour groups.
The Kyoto ANA has been a fixture on the Kyoto scene for a long time and it’s starting to show its age. It still pulls in the tour groups and gets wedding parties, but it might not be the most appealing choice for individual travelers. Still, it’s got all the facilities of a big hotel and a competent staff and if you can get a good online rate, it wouldn’t be bad for a night or two – especially if you can get a room with a view of Nijo Castle.
